a non-profit (501-C-3) Community Outreach program, presents school assemblies and programs of excellence dedicated to armoring children with love. Put On Your Armor (SM) works in partnership with schools, local governments, civic organizations, media, corporations, churches, and individuals.

Put On Your Armor (SM) was founded in 1990 by "Armadillo Jim" Schmidt. "Armadillo Jim" and his mascot, Arnie Armadillo®, have been traveling to schools, fairs, and special events since 1980. For twenty-eight years "Armadillo Jim" and his Armadillo Rangers™ have traveled internationally to audiences totaling over several million including:

Master of Ceremonies for The Presidential Inaugural Celebration of President George H.   Bush and the Gubernatorial Inaugural Celebration of President George W. Bush

1000 schools in 30 states and Canada

Over 300 television shows such as Nashville Now, Regis & Kathie Lee, Crook & Chase,   Maury Povich, and The Nickelodeon Network
